Thank you to the committee for this opportunity to judge your club show and to my steward for keeping the proceedings flowing. It is a super venue for club shows. It did get a little warm once the sun came through the skylights but the dogs had no problems with the heat. It was pleasing that the exhibitors applauded the winners of each class and there was a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere. It was a pleasure to be here.
Mittel
MPD (1) 1. Saich’s Lindcoly Blue Moon. Square in outline, moderate angulation front and rear with good width of chest. Flat skull, 50/50 head proportions. Good nose pigment and large nostrils. Ex bite and large teeth. Eyes rather light in colour but of good shape. On the move he has a tendency to crab in front leaning into the handler. The rear movement is a tad untidy too. Needs time to concentrate and learn to move straight. An unusual colour, not black and not blue, with a brown tinge.BPD. RBPIB.
PD (1) 1. Lindcoly Blue Moon
JD (2,1a) 1. Heslop’s Flamuna Awesome As. Black with glossy top coat. Dark eyes and ex pigment. Good width to ribs and well ribbed back. Height ratio elbows to floor 50% height floor to withers. Strong neck. Neat cat feet. Tail set high and held well. Lacks rear angulation and hocks are rather upright. Erratic on the move so this was difficult to assess. Worth the handler persevering to train him to cooperate.
SYD (2) 1. Saich’s Lindcoly The One An Only. Fabulous top class wolf sable particolour. In pristine condition and ex size. Absolutely fell for him. Dark eyes and black pigment. Well laid shoulders and ex turn of stifle. Agile and quick footed. He moves so soundly, straight and true, and has the character of a true showman. No exaggeration. BD. BOB. Pushed hard at the end but settled for RBIS today. His time will come in the not too distant future. One to watch. 2. Flamuna Awesome As.
PGD (3) 1. Heslop’s Flamuna Zetes.Black in excellent coat. Straight forelegs. Good layback of shoulder and good rear angulation. Clean neck, level topline, well bodied. Strong hocks. Moves soundly in all directions. 2. Saich’s Lindcoly Fozzie Bear. Ex bite.. Good bone for size. Good head and expression. In good coat with thicker ruff. Well made front and good ribs. Just throws out the left hind leg when moving. 3. Saich’s Hocombewood Ace of Spades at Lindcoly. Black who did not want to cooperate and made the handlers job very difficult. As per the standard “intelligent, active and alert”.
LD (3) 1. Barnes & King’s SpellcastTalk With Me By Izlou. Cream with fabulous dark eyes and eye rims, ex nose pigment. Quality head and expression. Ex layback and tightest of elbows. In quality coat and condition. Well bodied. High set tail carried well over back. Outmoved the others in the class and stands out from the crowd on the stand. 2. Hearson’s Nixtev Uraxys at Jumasue. Liked his head, erect ears and expression. Well sprung ribs and short loin. Stands on strong well arched feet. Unfortunately let himself down on the move by crabbing and his looseness at elbow shows in front movement. 3. Heslop’s Flamuna Arktouros. Brown, in ex coat and has good expression and wedge shaped muzzle. A little upright in shoulder but the rear angulation is better. Very neat cat feet. Due to the upright forehand the front legs swing out when moving, but holds a level topline on the move.
OD (2) 1. Saich’s Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly Apparently father and son, I learnt afterwards. Father was on top form today. Almost 7, brown, one bottom tooth just leaning forward, otherwise retaining an ex straight bite. In great mature coat and in ex condition. Good angulation all round. Very attentive to handler. Steady mover but just crabbing a little cost him in the challenge. RBD.RBOB. 2. Saich’s Lindcoly Mischief Maker. The son. Exhuberant black, not bringing his best undercoat with him today. Lots to like about him. Excels on the move when he motors around the ring and the handler has a job to keep up with him.
VD (2,1a) 1. Wilson’s Nickila Silver Sovereign. Almost 8 years old and in fit, well muscled condition. Kind expression. In quality coat. Strong bone Would just prefer a little more width all through. Moves with precision and purpose. Lovely balance. BVD. BVIB.BVIS.

MPB (2) Both black. 1. Barnes & King’s Izlou Walnut Forget Me. She gives the appearance of being longer than high but this is an optical illusion due to her thickness of coat in front and rear. Lovely large white teeth. Ex overall size. Well angulated at both ends. Good body on her. In strong hard muscletone. The topcoat harsh texture is yet to come but just a baby. A tendency to plait her forelegs when moving. BPB. BPIB. 2. Saich’s Lindcoly Wishing On A Dream. Smaller girl who is very pretty. Good layback of shoulder but a little short in upper arm so her forelegs lift high when moving. Ex turn of stifle. Ex harsh topcoat texture with thicker and longer ruff. RBPB.
PB (2) 1. Izlou Walnut Forget Me. 2. Lindcoly Wishing On A Dream
JB (1) 1. Chapman’s Clarmers Little Banshee. Black. So impressed with this young bitch. Quality feminine head, ever alert ears. Glamorous glossy coat of harsh topcoat texture. So well balanced overall with a square outline and well constructed all through. Perfect combination of steadiness with controlled active animation on the move. Dog and handler have a perfect rapport. RBB.

PGB (4,1a) 1. Heslop’s Flamuna Kallisto. Squarely built brown, flat skull, ex mouth, oval eyes, sporting a quality coat with longer ruff and creating a typical outline. Well ribbed back with short loin. Well muscled. 2. Barnes & King’s Spellcast Speaks for Itself By Izlou. Close decision on first 2. Smaller brown. Enough bone for size. Very pretty . Straight forelegs and tight elbows. Moved straight. 3. Wells’ Bulabs Lady Penelope at Wolfcreek. Pretty head but rounder eyes detract from overall expression. Dark eye rims. Would prefer more width to front and smaller ears. Holds a good topline with good tail carriage. Moved well around the ring with a steady gait.
LB (5,2a) 1. Saich’s Lindcoly Wishing On A Star . Absolutely naked and nothing to hide, what you see is what you get and it is so well balanced, short-coupled and compact, with all lines flowing into one another. Prettiest of heads. Very attentive to handler. Her sound construction and hard muscle condition allowed her to cover the ground with ease on the move. Full of life.2. Barnes & King’s Spellcast Now Ya Talkin JW. Beautifully balanced, a real live wire with lots to offer. Ex head proportions. In mature coat. Would prefer her a little shorter in body for a squarer balance. Love the character, just need to rein it in a little to be able to view the movement easier. 3. Bulabs Lady Penelope at Wolfcreek
OB (6, 3a) 1. Barnes & King’s CH Spellcast Talking About Me ShCM. Black, displaying ex balance and compact in outline. Ex head with quality features. Straight forelegs and elbows are tight to ribcage. Well turned stifle. Lovely to watch her move around the ring, showing precise movement from all angles. Moved straight and true. BB, BOS. 2. Saich’s Lindcoly Pixie Princess. Black. A lunatic in the nicest possible way. What is she on? So loved her balance and type but to say her movement was erratic is an understatement. She keeps the handler fit I am sure. 3. Saich’ Bulabs Staring Stephanie for Lindcoly. A lively character which is nice to see. Ex pigment, wedge muzzle, prefer eyes a little less round. Good bone and well bodied. She moves well but the shorter tail, not being held well over the back, detracts from her overall outline both standing and moving.
VB (1) 1. Saich’s Ichmoran Primrose Polka. Brown/white particolour. Carrying the perfect amount of weight. Correct height ground to withers/ground to elbows ratio of 50/50. Square in outline. Good forechest. Level topline. Moves pretty well but throwing left rear leg. BVB.

Brace (2) 1. Heslop. Pair of browns that were so evenly matched in size and balance. Moved around the ring in perfect harmony. 2. Saich. Pair of blacks, both ultra lively and I admired both the handlers optimism and her ability to manage both together. Valiant effort indeed.
Klein
Whilst not numerically large, I was very impressed with the quality of my main winners.

PD (1) 1. Jackson & Minshall’s Perrymere Just Bertie. 10 months old and a picture of balance. Well coated with a super outline and the construction underneath the coat is most pleasing. Head of 50/50 proportions with wedge shaped muzzle. Oval, dark eyes. Ex bite. Good width all through. Straight forelegs. Strong hocks. Tail set high and held well over back. Distinct shawl around neck. Looks and acts the part. Handled with empathy, a great combination of dog and handler. He moves like a true professional showman. Fabulous start to the day. Sure to go all the way to the top. BD. BPD. RBOB. BOS. BPIB. BPIS.

PGD (1) 1. Pallet’s Nardik Summer Moon. 24 months of age. He was not entirely at ease on the table but happy enough when moving. Good head proportions. Lighter in eye and pigment. Tight at elbow, Well bodied and good spring of rib. Neat cat feet. Strong in hock. In profuse coat with ex plumage. RBD.

PGB (3,1a) Both particolours. 1. Moxon’s Chilite Cochina at Thirldene.Square outline. Ex bite, dark oval eyes, triangular ears, set high. Straight forelegs and neat feet. Well ribbed. Won on her better pasterns and overall movement from all angles. RBB.2. Pallett’s Chilite Indian Summer. Broad skull. Moderate neck, level topline and short loin. Front feet turning out a little and down on pasterns. In thick stand off coat. Good side action.
LB (3,1a) 1. Hall’s Nardik Inky Dinky Doo. Brown/white parti. What a little charmer she is. Lovely make and shape and oozes breed type. Pretty in head. Ex bite. Good width all through. Ex layback of shoulder, with matching angulation at the rear with well turned stifle. Short strong hocks. Small cat feet. High set tail, well curled. In great stand off coat and mature condition and presented so well. Moves like a piston, motoring her way around the ring with forward reach, rear drive and such ring presence. Truly alert and lively and happy. BB, BOB, pulled out all the stops to take BIS.
